Pipa is a small tourist town in the northeast of Brazil, belonging to the municipality of Tibau do Sul in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. It is famous for its extensive beaches. It is relatively isolated from the big cities (the closest is Natal, about 80 kilometers away). It enjoys a tropical climate. Pipa has beautiful beaches, including Do Amor (because of its heart shape seen from the cliffs), praia centrica (with very calm waters), praia dos Golfinhos (where you can swim with the dolphins that come close to the coast to eat), Praia Do Madeiro (very quiet, and with many palm trees, it is the northernmost of the town) and Praia Das Minas, located to the south of the town, the least crowded by tourists.
